Dhandhuka taluka is located 105 km from Ahmedabad city. Being an interior area, in 1964 i.e. in the 60s, a long vision of Mr. Kishandas Mohanlal Kikani was born with the noble aim of providing higher education to the students brothers and sisters and considering the inconveniences faced by the students in going to distant areas for education. So that the people of this area could get higher education without any inconvenience, he had a feeling to start a college for higher education and considering it, he donated land for it at Dhandhuka and played a part in the establishment of a college.
Shri Kishandas Kikani Arts and Commerce College Dhanduka was established on 14 June 1964 at Bhal Pradesh.
